Sleeve Pattern Woven

Sleeve Pattern WovenAre you looking to add sleeves to your full basic bodice pattern?  This tutorial shows you how to make a simple sleeve pattern, using your measurements.  If you've done our t-shirt sleeve pattern, you'll find the method to be similar.  The difference though is in the fabric.  Because you will be using woven fabric for this pattern, you'll have to take into account ease, otherwise, you'll find it difficult to do things like bend your elbow or raise your arm.  I do recommend that after making your pattern, that you do make a muslin to test your sleeve and make sure it's going to be comfortable and functional for you.  Also, don't forget that you can make yourself sleeves of different lengths.

I am sewing a dress that has short sleeves and a interfacing. Therefore, I have two cut out 4 sleeves with two that are covered in interfacing. I have read the directions over and over again but this like they are speaking Chinese. Can you point me in the right direction? I’ve put sleeves in before but the interfacing part has scared me. I am using Butterick pattern B4386 view B. Thanks :)!

Thank you so much for this tutorial. I don’t wear sleeveless dresses so I really needed this.
    Thanks again,
