Rocker Dresss – McCall’s Pattern 6754

McCcall's Pattern 6754 Rocker DressMcCcall's Pattern 6754 Rocker Dress Close McCcall's Pattern 6754 Rocker Dress Side Many times I come across beginner sewers who believe that it'll take some time before they'll be able to tackle a project that's cool, fun, and something they'll actually want to wear. Not to knock pajama bottoms and tote bags, but it's understandable if a lot of sewers have bigger and better visions on what they want to accomplish with their new sewing skills. To those people, let me introduce you to McCall's 6754. This dress rocks (hence the name) and it's an easy dress that can be completed by a beginner. Yes, you can do this! And if you're still unsure, don't worry, we have a full length tutorial here to show you exactly how it's done.

The dress is simple but still has a lovely style. It's made with a knit lace and a tricot lining. Since both the lace and lining are stretchy, there are no fasteners so this dress is simply a pullover. The bodice is body hugging with a scooped neckline and the skirt is circular so there's enough fullness for twirling. We loved taking this dress and rocking it out, but the style is versatile that you can really take it any direction.

Are you loving it? Purchase pattern McCall's 6754 here.

If I win it’d be a first & I definitely would have to try to make this cute eye catching dress and professor pincushion right by my side for guidance. Yep this pattern has my name written all over it.

I am so happy that i found this site. I am so grateful for the time u took to explain each patterns. I am so now ready to tackle my other projects. I came and view over the site first more than once and i realize every questions so far that i have about sewing pattern is here. Also i alway want to know how to do the other stuff shown here like making a vent in a skirt , lap zipper, sewing with knit and chiffon etc. I am so happy, my only fault now is i am over exciting i have to calm myself down to begin sewing like crazy. Thank you so much. I took sewing class but i notice the advance classes stop show advance stitches and when u come across them you are lost. Again, Thank you!!!!.

This will take my fear away from lining . I think it will force me to do lining and the style is on edge! and stretch material will also be another challenge for me, a pattern that i wanted to buy for so long

I’d rock it with a cardigan, collar and kitten heels, most likely use seersucker fabric.

Very cute dress! I need something simple, the Vogue dress I was working on, FAILED! It’s in the UFO pile, for when I have more experience.
