Sly Cooper Cosplay

I’m in the process of making a Sly Cooper costume. Unfortunately there’s no patterns so I have to make my own for it though I think so far I’m doing fair with that effort. I’ve made the back of his shirt and am working on the front and collar. I downloaded a flat cap pattern so that’ll be done. The only part I’m worried about is his legs. I know I’m going to make them up with faux fur but, How I’m going to do them where they don’t ruin the illusion in that jagged pattern is where I’m struggling a bit. I’m sure I’ll figure it out eventually but, if anyone wants to offer tips they are welcome to.
My friend’s doing Carmelita fox and we’re planning to do a masquerade together.

It’s still a work in progress. All my funding for the supplies for the project had to be channeled elsewhere
