Have you watched our video on invisible zipper and basic skirt lining?  Basic skirt lining isn’t exactly a dress but the technique I use for attaching the lining to the zipper is a favorite of mine.  You would sew the zipper to the main garment (just the same as I did in the invisible zipper tutorial) and then I like to fold under the lining around inside of the zipper and hand stitch it into place.  You can see me do this in the basic skirt lining video.   I’m waiting in anticipation to see your dress when you’re finish.  🙂
