Looking for a new way to embellish?  Reverse applique is a fun technique that allows you to be creative in lots of different ways.  You layer fabric on top of each other and cut shapes out of the top fabric to reveal the contrasting fabric underneath.  It's so easy, you can really incorporate this technique in pretty much any project, you just have to plan for it.  Reverse applique will give your projects a unique and complex look.  It's also really fun to experiment with.  Try different shapes!  Try layering three fabrics and creating appliques within each other.  The possibilities are really endless.  Our demonstration of reverse applique will show you how really easy it is to create this look.
