Princess Seams

Princess Seam
Princess seams are the rounded seams found in a woman’s bodice that provide shaping.  Because they do a similar job as darts, it’s not surprising that princess seams replace darts.  Since princess seams tend to be a curvy seam, sometimes beginners find them a little tricky to create.  You can follow along with Professor Pincushion in this demonstration as she tackles the princess seam.  She’ll show you tips and tricks that will guarantee that your own princess seams will look great and you’ll sew them with ease.
