    Hello,
I want to make a bathrobe out of a towel that is width 30 inches and 62 length. however, I have a pattern that calls for at least a 45″ width. Can I still use my towel to make an adult size bath towel. I know i can t place the pattern on the fold since my fabric is narrow, so can I do on a single layer or fabric as opposed to the “fold” line?
    Thanks!

sorry for the delay in response. I’ve been trying to get over being sick. As long as you can fit all your pattern pieces on your fabric, you can use something that is a narrower width and you can cut out pieces individually instead of folding the fabric. Just make sure, if you need to cut out two of something, like a 2 front pieces, you cut out one with the pattern right side up and one with the pattern right side down. You end up with a left side and a right side instead of two left sides. Hope that helps and good luck!
