    I am completely new to sewing and have just bought my first sewing machine . I have bought self healing mat and rotary cutter but having problems measuring fabric accurately. What are the best rulers to purchase?

    I prefer just the basic clear acrylic ones that are found in the same section as the cutters. I think they’re 4″ wide and 18″ long. It just takes practice using a cutter and getting perfect cuts so I wouldn’t be too hard on yourself. I’m still not perfect and have very unsteady hands, so I’m sure in a short time, you’ll be even better than me.
