tulip sleeve

Dear professor,
I love your site! It helps me big time and learn a lot! (after 20 years not sewing)
I tryed to make a tulipsleeve from a existing patern. ( like you showed on your site)
Something went wrong , it looks like a short butterfly sleeve.
What can i do? Make a new sleeve? and what should i do different?

hmmm….it could be that when you drew your sleeve from the center cap to the hemline, that you didn’t make your curve deep enough, meaning making a big generous curve. does it look bad? If not, then I would go with it and now you can have an option with either butterfly or tulip sleeves. Not all mistakes are bad 🙂
