I am a starter and I would love to know if someone can give me some advice on how making the best cutouts that look neat and clean.

I’ve been thinking about using fusibles, but I don’t think it is enough for giving it a very professional finish to the edges.

It really depends on several things: What are you cutting, what material you are using, will the cut edge be showing??? Regardless, the first thing is SHARP cutting tools.    Next is good fabric.    Adding a stabilizer is good, but then again, you have to know your fabric/project.  If you could ask a more specific question, I am sure every one could give you very sound advice.  For example, ” I am making  wall art where the 100% cotton fabric is a variety of circles and I  need them stiff.  What should I use to help me stiffen te fabric and prevent fraying in the raw edge?”   Just a sample and you could fill in the appropriate words.    Congrats on getting started with any project you do, it will become addictive.
