    Hi,
I accidentally tore my brand new shirt. I was wondering the best way to repair it? It is semi-sheer 100% rayon (if that helps)
Thank you for any advice you can give.

yikes! sorry for the delay in response! I’d look at the care instructions to see if there are care limitations. Such as with rayon, it may say no iron. If that’s the case, you’re best option might be hand sewing the hole closed. When you do this, pick a lightweight thread, you may even want to use the decorative thread…which I believe is also rayon. When you sew it, sew it from the wrong side of the garment, just pick a little bit from one side and then the other and gently pull. Just don’t get too close to the edge or it might tear more fibers. By doing it on the back it shouldn’t be as noticeable. good luck!
