    Would these be appropriate to use where those little circles are? I also have a large circle, solid color, and I am not sure how to mark it. It is in the fly area. Do I make the stitch the diameter of the small circles? They are used to line up the casing on the waist. The fabric is flannel and is really soft, so a pencil mark wouldn’t work to mark it. The fabric would “crawl” with the pencil point. I mark the arrows on edge of patterns with a snip of the scissors. I don’t think a snip would work where the dots are. I think that is all I need to ask. 🙂

    yes, you can use tailor’s tacks to mark these. maybe do a single stitch to indicate small mark and two stitches, one on top of the other, to indicate the larger mark.
