    I am making a strapless cotton summer dress. I wondered what you might suggest I do to ensure the dress stays up? I was thinking maybe elastic around the waist and top line of the dress chest. Any thoughts?

    I think both of those are good ideas. You can always add elastic to the top of the dress as well. The elastic doesn’t need to go all around the top of the dress but maybe the elastic could cinch in the dress in the back, just so you can make it as snug and comfortable as possible.
