    Hi there, I am making the coat part of pattern 2172 from Simplicity. I want to make the coat without pockets. How do I adjust the pattern piece? Any help would be greatly received. Thanks!

    You should be able to do this. If it were me, I’d take pattern piece 4 and lie it up on piece 3 until they seem to line up and create a single uniformed shape. Then just pin or tape them together and cut out your fabric. (If you have to line up dots to make it work, then do so. Any steps involving the pocket facing or sewing 3 and 4 together can just be skipped because it should be a single piece now. Good luck! 🙂
