    Hi professor pincushion!

    Is it necessary to get the wrinkles out of 1/4-1/2 inch polyester quilt batting? If so, what are the best ways to do it? Iron, something else I don’t know about, or nothing at all?

    sorry for the delay. I just got back from being out of town. I actually wouldn’t worry about it. You can’t really iron polyester batting so there’s not way to get out wrinkles. That’s why you should use a spray adhesive to attach the quilt top to the batting because then you can stretch and spread the batting and you shouldn’t be able to notice once the quilt’s together
