    How do I make my own peplum & measure myself to make it for a top? Thx.You da bomb!

    hello there! You can definitely make your own pattern. If it were me, I would make it a process similar to creating a circle skirt since peplum patterns tend to be circular. I would use the bottom of the existing top as my basis for the top of my peplum and then decide how long I would want my peplum to be, but I would slightly curve the top and bottom of the peplum pattern. The only part of the peplum that’s fitted is at the top of the peplum and that’s also going to be the bottom of your shirt so if your shirt fits well, you shouldn’t have to take any further body measurements for the peplum. Because it is circular it will flare out going towards the hemline and fit shouldn’t be an issue.
