    I have a “pleather” purse I am constructing with a kiss lock frame with the handle attached to the kiss lock frame. Unfortunately, it is NOT a sew in frame. It has 2 bars that screw in from the side (going across the top). My question is: Since it is not a sew-in frame, how do I construct the purse around the bars and the “side legs” of the frame?

    Does it still have a groove on the inside? You might not be able to sew it but instead try using glue. I heard Gutermann creativ glue works well for gluing purse frames on.
