Hi professor Pincushion,
First I would like to tell you that I so happy I found your site. I have been watching some of the video tutorials and I love the way you explain everything. Thank you!!!
I’m also a beginner with the sewing machine. My first project was to turn and old pair of jeans into shorts. I did it to practice my sewing skills. I must say I did a sloppy job but I’m proud that I was able to complete the project. Now I would like to learn to make an iron board cover. The iron board that I have is crying for a replacement and I thought it would be nice to make one instead of buying it. Can you please help me?

I’m so glad you found your site and even if your handmade items aren’t perfect, stick with it because you’ll just get better and better. We don’t have an ironing board cover but if you’re comes off, I recommend using it as your pattern.
