      Hello Prof
      essor, i ma planning making a cotton dress for my friend’s daughter, I am wondering what is the best way to finish the seams, any time i zig zag cotton they seem to curl up in to a hard ridge? any help much appreciated.

        You can always keep it simple and just cut the edges with pinking shears. Or if you want something really nice you can do the hong kong finish. the tutorial on that is here: https://www.professorpincushion.com/professorpincushion/hong-kong-finish/
