    Hi Professor Pincushion,
On your video on the stay stitch you sew the neck from one side to the other. On the pattern, and on my own pattern, it seems it has arrows showing you start from each end and sew to the middle of the neck. Is it okay to go all the way across like you did or is it better to sew from each end?

Thanks for your help and videos.

After failing to do a topic search, I found the same question posted 5 months ago where Professor Pincushion states she’s “always done it in one fell swoop and have never had any problems or issues.” Either way is fine, stick with what works for you.

hi there, yeah, I’ve done it both ways and never had an issue. The trick is to really make sure you’re not stretching the area because the stay-stitch is to prevent the neckline from stretching out as you’re working with it.
