    Your 3 videos about replicating favorite jeans is the best I’ve seen. BUT!, how did you determine the straight grain on the favorite jeans to place that key information on the new pattern?

    It should go down the center of the of the pant leg. What you can do is mark the center of the hemline, then go up the pantleg about 10 inches and mark the center of the width in this area and draw a line connecting the two points. This line can be your grainline or you can move it as long as it’s still parallel to this original line. Hope this helps! 🙂
