    Hello,

    I have a Simplicity Dress pattern No.: 2580, I know that I want to make a dress in a size 16 however on the actual pattern cutout, the sizes range from 6-14. How would I cut the pattern for a size 16? Would I have to recreate the same pattern?

    It sounds to me like you bought the wrong envelope. On the front of the envelope, either on the top or on the side, it’ll give a range of sizes. You need to find the envelope that includes size 16. Usually pattern companies will have envelopes with sizes 6-14 and 10-22. So when you look in the pattern cabinet, you would then grab the envelope that has 10-22 on it. If you haven’t cut anything out, the fabric store should allow you to exchange it.
