I’m sewing Butterick See & Sew B4266. The instructions for sewing the button loops don’t make sense to me. When I baste the loops as instructed and then sew the Narrow Hem, the loops are inside and are too short. It says to turn the loops outside. How would I do that?

Typically, you’ll still do a top stitch. So you’d pull the end of the loops outward so they’re facing past the fabric and then top stitch on the edge of the fabric and this should keep them facing in the correct direction. Hope that helps!
