    Using your “pivot method” to increase bust size on commercial patterns, should coordinating alternations be made to the armhole facings? If so, how is that done?

    Yes, I would also increase the armhole facings if the armhole is increased. Because the facings are usually a simplistic shape, a sort of crescent with squared ends, I would add it to the ends. So if you’re increasing 2″, there would be 1″ add to each the front and back facing. If there’s a side of the facing that is “place on fold” it might be easier to add the extra measurement to that side, since it’s usually the straighter end. Hope that helps 🙂
