    Hi Professor
    When altering waist line of lower part of dress I have side seam slip pockets which are hidden. I lined the pocket up under my skirt pattern and it appears to be no different. Can I take the alteration just from the skirt or do I have to separately increase the pocket as well?

    You shouldn’t have to alter pockets. Just use them as is. 🙂
