Adjusting a Bodice Pattern

Hello Prof. I have been watching and learning pattern making via your tutorials. I am working on a Basic Bodice Pattern and need to know how and what to do to adjust or alter that pattern to be a V-Neck or a Mandarin Collar or a Band Collar, etc. Hope the question can be understood. Thanks

For making a V-Neck to your basic bodice, this is very simple. Instead of doing a curved neckline, you’ll just be drawing a straight line from the shoulder line to the bottom of the neckline. You can measure from the base of your neck to where you want the bottom of the V to be on your chest and then measure this down on the Center Front line. We don’t have any tutorials on collars yet but I hope those will come out in the future.
