I haven’t made this dress but will try to help.  I totally sympathize with your frustration with the pattern directions (or should I say lack of directions?). I’m guessing you mean you’ve ironed the interfacing to the wrong side of the fabric for the facing.  What’s the facing for and briefly, what are steps 32, 33, and 34?
