      When sewing a garment do I over lock as I sew each seam or wait till the garment is finished and overlock at the end.

        you would overlock and seam at the same time. So your seam allowance would be overlocked closed and then you can just press it to one side.

          Thank you very much for the information I was not sure as I have a never used an over locker and my beloved husband bought me one for Christmas, I am so very lucky.
