There's nothing worse than trying to sew through a project and getting stuck at thick layers. Either your machine refuses to sew through them or the needle or thread snaps. Getting frustrated can lead to tears or throwing your project in the trash. Trust me, I've been there as well. Ideally, for these tough areas, you'll want to use a heavy duty sewing machine, but we don't always have the means and funds to have multiple sewing machines. In those cases, you just have to do the best you can with the machine you have. This doesn't mean, it's completely impossible though. There are a few tips you can do to get past the tough parts or at least make it easier. This video will share tricks I do when I find myself sewing through those thick layers and, hopefully, they can help you too in your own sewing.
