One of the ways to embellish a project is through the use of decorative trim. There are so many trims you can purchase from your fabric store from lace to beads to fringe. You're fabric store probably has a whole wall dedicated to trim. And just as there is a large variety of trim there is a number of ways it can be used in your projects. You can sew it to the edge of a hem, lay trim flat across the top of your project, or create an inset look. This video goes over the basics, offering tips in sewing with trim and then demonstrates some techniques for sewing trim on. Sewing with trim is fun and will make your projects extra special.
