If you take your dog on hikes with you, then you know having a portable dog bowl is a must-have. Instead of purchasing an expensive one from your local pet store, consider making your own. It's incredibly easy, plus you can make one with cuter print than the typical, generic looking ones you can buy. To make my dog bowl a water dish, I treated my cotton canvas with beeswax before I started. This is not meant to be a permanent water or food dish but it works great as a temporary bowl, plus it collapses into a conveniently small item so it's easy to pack. Make one and your dog will love it.
