      I have seen several of your zipper videos and they are great! Am I missing the one that shows how to finish the top of the zipper into the waist line or top of a dress?

        Usually the top of the zipper is finished by the waistband for skirt or pants or a collar or neckline facing if it’s the top of a dress or top. You would never have a raw edge at the top, regardless if there’s a zipper there or not, so when you sew in the waistband or facing, the top of the zipper usually becomes part of the seam allowance. Hope this makes sense.

          Thanks, this is my first dress so incorporating into the facing. Just looking for a visual 🙂

            Just make sure the top is basted into place so it doesn’t move around and then just treated it like it’s not even there 😉
