      Using top stitching thread fro the first time on a button front shirt. Should I also use this thread for the buttonholes, or just use the regular all purpose thread that I am using for construction?

        I usually only use the top stitch thread if I’m working with heavier fabric like denim and making jeans. If it’s just a lightweight button down shirt, I would just use all-purpose thread for the buttonholes. 🙂
