      I have an assingment for school in which I must use poplin.

      This time I would love working with a sheer textures and beautiful layerings. I was wondering if poplin also comes in a very delicate weight or it is only the lightweighted fabric we use on shirts and blouses?

      If you have a picture of a light weight poplin it would be great, since I haven’t found anything clear on google.

        When I worked at the fabric store, I only saw poplin that was more of the heavy weight fabric, suitable for making pants and such, so I think that is the more common version.  But I did find silk poplin here on fabric.com, which may be more to your liking.    Good luck on your project. 🙂
