      I love your pivot and slide methods for altering patterns. My daughter has a longer than avg torso and I am making her a dress but I would like to alter the pattern first. I have watched the altering bodice patterns to lengthen or shorten them. Is it the same concept?

        yes, I would use the technique shown in lengthen or shorten a bodice pattern alteration tutorial found on this site. good luck 🙂
