Laminating Cotton

1. Can cotton be laminated on the back?
2. Can finished piece be washed?
3. Safe for infant to sleep on?

You should be able to laminate it on both sides, but I would protect the opposite side with a similar type of paper. It’s not meant to be thrown in the washing machine, but rather cleaned with a damp cloth. You’ll have to look at your particular fusible vinyl to see if it’s infant or food safe, but even if it’s safe for an infant to sleep on, I don’t think it’ll be really comfortable. The fabric will no longer be soft or breathable but rather feel like sleeping on plastic.
