      Hello professor
I’m Aisha, I just started learning sewing and drafting own patterns.
I find it very difficult to draft sleeves pattern. Even the basic pattern.
Everytime it turn out bigger and puffier. Could really use your help.
      Thank you.

Here’s an idea that you can try: Do you have sleeve that you really like on an existing shirt or dress? We have a tutorial that shows you how to replicate and create a pattern based on the already existing sleeve. You can find the directions on a sleeve I did in this tutorial: https://www.professorpincushion.com/professorpincushion/how-to-create-patterns-from-existing-clothing-simple-tops/ It’s not drafting it from scratch but it might at least be good practice. Please note: that if the original sleeve is from knit, you cannot add for a garment meant for woven fabrics. There won’t be enough ease for you. Good luck!
