      I have a daughter that is 5’10” and I want to alter the crunch. I measure her as 35” to the waist. I measured the pattern as 29”. That is 6”. Do I measure 3” down for the front and back?

        be sure to also include the waistband. Then whatever the difference is, I would split it between the front and back. After making the adjustments, do a quick muslin to test the fit.
