sorry for the delay in response. My computer broke last week and I finally got a new one and now I’m just getting caught up. As I was reading your post, I started thinking that this might be a swayback adjustment as well. I don’t think it’s a waistband issue as much as it’s a fit issue with the garment itself and if you fix that, then the waistband will probably work better.
