I’m assuming that this is a skirt already made. I think the easiest thing to do is a mark up 7″ from the hemline, instead of measuring down from the waistline. Have the skirt spread out on a flat surface and the more marks you make, the more you’ll replicate the rounded hemline. After making your marks, do a basting stitch on your machine, connecting all the marks together in one line. The basting stitch will make it easier to see where you need to fold up. Fold up your skirt so that the basting stitch is right on the folded edge and pin into place. Try on the skirt and see if you’re happy with the length or if you need to make any adjustments. Once it’s to your liking, press the new hemline, trim off the excess fabric and do the hem type of your choosing. I hope it works out for you! 🙂
