Typically, you’re going to sew the invisible zipper to the main fabric dress part first. Then attach the lining to the dress at the neckline, but, before you do that, on the seam where the zipper would fall on the lining, press the raw edges under the seam allowance amount. This way when they’re stitched together, the pressed edges of that area should fall alongside either side of the zipper. And then just hand stitch the lining to the wrong side of the zipper tape.
