If you’re talking about the cross stitch map, you just use it as a reference. You don’t actually place it on the fabric. This is why you need to do a lot of counting. I haven’t tried it, but I think if you place it directly on the fabric and stitch through it, it’s not going to tear off as neatly as you would like….although maybe should invent something like that or, better yet, it just rinses away with water. That would be amazing! One of our team members pointed out that there’s a tear away paper that you place on non-cross stitching fabric, in order to make it look like cross stitching. If that’s what you have, then yes, you would tear it away after you’re done with your design. Thanks!
