If your pincushion has the little strawberry attached, that’s actually a pin sharpener. So you can try using that. If you’re pins are in bad shape, I recommend tossing them and buying new ones. Don’t just toss them in the trash loose but maybe put them in a container you can close, like an old milk jug or jar.
