      Hi
      I would like to make a dress for my sister in this style: (http://www.tiedyedivapatterns.com/product/la-tulipe-dress-circle-skirt-tulip-sleeves-pattern-pdf-for-girls-2-to-10)
      but I’m not sure what size to make as her measurements don’t fit close to any one measurement:
      Her chest is 25″
      Waist 21.5″
      Height 54 3/4″
      She would probably want the dress a bit longer than shown & with growing space for the next year. She’s nine years old and has not started developing yet, but it won’t be far off.
      I’ve attached a copy of the size chart

            hmmmm….if it were me, I’d do the size 7/8. I think it’s more important that the chest and shoulders fit. You can also do a larger seam allowance at the waist area to take it in a bit more and then if she grows, you can let it back out in this area. You can also extend the skirt length to add a little more to the bottom. It’s a cute dress 🙂
