      What does it mean when it says on the fold?

        It means the pattern needs to be placed on the fold of your fabric when you cut it out. So after it’s cut out, you’ll end up with a fabric piece that’s twice the size as your original pattern. The pattern piece will post the side that needs to be placed on the fold.
