      Am sewing a contrast of faux suede on a tweed dress. Do I use a different size needle and/or thread?

        It would depend on how thick the two fabric pieces are together. If it seems heavier, then I would use a universal 90/14. You can probably still get away with just using all purpose thread. Sounds like it’s going to be awesome. Please post a pic when you finish 🙂
